This is an action-packed series about a group of young people, who meet every Wednesday under Dr. Richard's supervision. Richard is a psychiatrist who works selflessly with this group on areas of self-help. These sessions are very similar to AA meetings. However, no one here is fighting an addiction. These people work on controlling their paranormal abilities, in an effort to learn how to live with them.
One of them, Brian, is pyrokinetic. He can start a fire from a distance. The fact that he cannot keep his ability under control understandably causes huge problems for him and those around him.
Roger is a paragnostic who can read other people's minds. He can’t help intruding into other people's heads. This strange ability makes him very uncomfortable when he travels by train or by subway, as his mind gets flooded with other people's thoughts.
Everyone in this group has a unique problem that is ruining his or her everyday life.
These self-help sessions have been going on for years in a rather calm atmosphere, until the day they learn of the secret society known as “Encrucijada,” which threatens to jeopardize their interests – and their lives.

The story of this graphic novel takes place in the city of Heroica, the largest of the so-called
instant cities built in the U.S. during the mass exodus of 2018. The conditions of life are tough,
unemployment is high, public services are deficient, people can barely make ends meet.
New gangs are organizing in a fight for the new territories. Most of the gangs are run from
the suburban quarter “Mexican Belt,” which is actually a result of a failed migratory experiment.
Doug Balthus, a detective from Heroica, is in big trouble because of his gambling debts.
He owes lots of money to two of the most dangerous gangs in town – neither of which is willing to forget his debt. Doug knows that they are after him, so he avoids the places where he usually hangs out. But then one night he gets caught, and just as he thinks his life is over, the boss of “Red Flies” makes him an offer he cannot refuse: Find Alicia and your debt will be forgotten.
Doug is thrilled and accepts the offer. During his search for Alicia he meets Laura -- a dancer in a sleazy club. Exhausted and tired of wandering, she opens up to him. Although he is completely broke, Doug invites her to stay with him.
He’s also looking for a safe place to hide from “White Noses,” the other gang he owes money to, and it seems that they are a perfect match.

When the evil Lamort steals the King’s magic rock – and his daughter, Lucrecia – the king decrees that any brave knight who retrieves them will win his daughter’s lovely hand in marriage. But the king is horrified when it is a rhinoceros who volunteers for the job. He does not want a rhino for a son-in-law!
Together with his trusty squire, a very brave mouse, the rhino seeks out the bent castle of Lamort, which is mired in a treacherous swamp. There, Lamort and the magic rock have become friends, but the rock is not to be trusted. And the much desired prisoner Lucrecia is more bored than scared.
Laced with humor, pathos and action, “Tales of Capomundo: Book 1 -Scarlet Horn” is a fast-paced and ultimately very satisfying adventure.

Miza and Vester are two wizard novices, anxious to learn the secret spells that will allow them to turn into a “White Wizard,” just like their father and teacher, the great Drazén. He is a big White Wizard who is off protecting his land, Tyrzene. While he is away, his young, restless novices explore endless passageways of the castle where they live, and accidentally uncover the famous Black Diamond, which their father has bewitched.
According to legend, Drazén, during the final battle with the evil force of “Blackness,” entombed the evil creature inside the Black Diamond, thus banishing it from Tyrzene.
The curious Miza and Vester, through their carelessness, break the magic container and set the Evil free. Now, the two of them are the only ones capable of solving this situation, since, as it turns out, their father Drazén has been imprisoned. Sadly, the fate of the Black Diamond is now in their inexperienced hands.
Thus begins the exciting adventures of Miza and Vester, where they try to survive their frightening encounters with gargoyles dominated by the “Blackness,” an evil White Wizard and a wicked lost brother.

Book 1:
Hey, Nick! Are You Dreaming?

Script:
Morphée

Art:
Hermann
Hermann ("Jeremiah," "The Towers of Bois-Maury") returns to the genre that made him famous: The Western.

Deadwood, Dakota Territory, 1876. “Wild Bill” Hickock is shot in the back while playing cards, so nobody much notices the tragedy of the small family massacred in the hills outside town. Nobody except Melvin. He sees the whole thing unfold in bloody reality. What follows is a year upon year of trekking across the West, as Melvin struggles to survive and prosper. Melvin’s journey finds him traveling with a bank robber and a prostitute, hunting and trapping in the woods for seven years, and working as a bartender in an old West saloon. His persistence and loyalty shape his life, as does the brutal violence of the old West.
Nick is a kid who loves animals, but his parents don't, so all he can do is read and wish. Nick falls asleep reading his favorite book. That night, he dreams about animals. Over the course of five dreams, Nick discovers Captain Bang's floating zoo. The Captain's rage makes him a very bad zookeeper. He literally explodes with rage and disappears, later popping up somewhere else. Nick risks the Captain's wrath and frees the animals. He then uses his dream powers to protect them, learning about real life in the process.

A surreal journey through a young boy's dreams, the story of Nick and the animals is an entertaining, rollicking, wild tale where the only limits are Nick's imagination, his belief in himself and his love of animals.

  BLOODY WINTER

Script & Art:
Sergio Bleda

The six brothers in apartment 6C have a small problem: it seems that their parents have been abducted by Martians. The kids pool their resources and plan a reconnaissance to root out the aliens. They discover that they have hidden strengths – they are brave, talented, resourceful and smart. And Lorenzo turns out to be a great cook, even better than Mom. His signature dish, Chocolate and French Fries, is a delicious meal. Can the brothers survive on their own? What happened to Mom and Dad? There are times when the answers are harder than the questions for the brothers of apartment 6C.

“Chocolate and French Fries” is funny and melancholy at the same time, a reminder of the power of children’s imaginations and the fragile balance of family life.
On the day of his mother's untimely funeral, Ralph, a wheelchair-bound child, is abducted. Twenty years later he returns and is now linked to Norton Gable –- a heartless, drug trafficking monster. What's their connection? That's what F.B.I. agent Michelle Pollock wants to know after the strangely quiet Ralph tells her where to find a serial child killer's latest victim.
As Agent Pollock gets sucked further and further into Ralph and Norton Gable's twisted world, she encounters deception, betrayal and violence the likes of which she's never known.

Dark, gritty and relentless, Sergio Bleda's “"Bloody Winter"” is frighteningly compelling as it creates a world where good doesn't always conquer evil.

This is the newest book by Hermann, author of “Jeremiah,”. This time Hermann's son Yves wrote the script of the story which takes us back first to the fall 1976.

The forty-year-old cop John Reed is bored stiff with his life and his uneventful career in a sleepy town in Missouri – until one day a young girl is found dead in the nearby forest. The event triggers in John memories of the summer of 1957, when he met and fell in love with a girl named Daisy. He found drama in her past that would turn to tragedy before his eyes. Both his life and Daisy’s came to a stop that summer.

Will John Reed’s present help him escape the prison of his past?
In the high tech world of the near future, powerful emotions still reign. Discarded in a garbage dump as an infant, raised by gypsies and shaped by the reformatory, Cain is an angry young man. When he discovers that he was born to be an heir and that his own mother exiled him to keep the fortune for herself and her eldest son, no one is safe from Cain’s rage.

This SAF Comics’ graphic novel was written by Ricardo Barreiro and illustrated by Eduardo Risso, whose accolades include Eisner awards for “Best Serialized Story” (2001) and “Best Penciler/Inker” (2002), and Harvey awards for “Best Artist” and "Best Continuing Series" (both 2002), all for his work on “100 Bullets,” which he draws for DC Comics/Vertigo.

Script & Art:
Sergio Bleda

A fashion model with a shaved head and Maori tattoos becomes a sensation in New York City. She is Bird, and she’s got a secret. She’s an escaped mental patient, addicted to psychotropic drugs, and on the run for her life. Her one hope is to expose the people who drove her mad before they discover her. A woman pushed to her limits, she uses every part of her being to fight back.

Carlos Trillo is a veteran story teller, whose many successful comics series and graphic novels have been illustrated by dozens of outstanding artists. Juan Bobillo, who also collaborated with Trillo on “Zachary Holmes” for SAF Comics, is a very talented young artist whose work for U.S. publishers includes “Mekanix” for Marvel Comics.
Juan, a freelance reporter, stumbles on a scoop at the local hospital: people are dying in their sleep. Healthy married couples in the prime of life are being discovered dead in their own beds. The connection seems to be the Little Girl, an autistic child. Each time she’s been adopted by a set of foster parents, these turn up dead in their beds the next morning, with no visible cause of death. Digging deeper, Juan discovers that the Little Girl’s biological parents met an even more horrible fate… Haunting and frightening, “Sleep, Little Girl” reminds us that there are forces in the universe that should not be tempted.

Sergio Bleda, author and artist of this SAF graphic novel, first gained attention for his horror comics series “The Vampire’s Dance.”

The famous Eduardo Risso again! In collaboration with the pride of SAF’s writers, Carlos Trillo, he has created a four volume series that spans the breadth of time and explores the depth of hatred.

“Boy Vampire” follows a nameless ten-year-old boy who has been unable to die for 5000 years. Nor has he grown up. Since the time of the Pharaohs, he has been trapped in childhood. Due to a strange incident long ago he became invulnerable - every time the rising sun hits his body, all of his wounds are healed, no matter how grave. The boy has an enemy - a woman he once opposed in his father’s palace. Through 5000 years, in many disguises and identities, she has pursued him, driven by pure hatred and only one wish: to finish the boy once and for all.
Manuel Gomez is a new breed of detective in the high tech world of cyber crime. A deaf mute from birth, he is able to communicate with the world around him with the help of his special glasses. Manuel is called in to consult on the case of a young woman who was connected to a virtual reality site at the time of her death, an apparent suicide. He finds out that several other young women have committed suicide while connected to this same site. The research leads Manuel to a VR landscape designer who is being treated for a variety of psychiatric illnesses...

Written by Juan Miguel Aguilera, whose novel “The Eternal Worlds” was praised in John Clute’s “Encyclopedia of Science Fiction” as the best Spanish science fiction novel, “Avatar” is wonderfully drawn by Rafael Fonteriz, one of the great Spanish artists.

The Boy Vampire is pursued by Ahmasi, who has chased him through time, fueled by a hatred larger than life itself. Ahmasi discovers the Boy's hiding place with Fever, and he has to leave the city with Fever and Cloud. They flee to New Orleans, Fever's home town. When Ahmasi shows up again, the Boy Vampire takes to the rails, leaving Fever and Evening Cloud in New Orleans. Ahmasi decimates the group, leaving only Fever clinging to life. When Boy Vampire hears of the massacre, he returns to New Orleans and forms a pact with Fever to destroy Ahmasi once and for all.

In this, the second book in the series, the Boy Vampire learns that fear may be more devastating than hatred, and regret may be the most horrible feeling of all.

From the fertile mind of Yves H and the pen of Hermann (Jeremiah, Wild Bill is Dead) comes a tale of espionage and intrigue set in the sinuous halls of diplomacy in the Far East.

On the eve of the signing of a major trade agreement between the United States and China, a suspected spy escapes from Chinese custody, aided by the CIA, and takes refuge in the US Embassy in Beijing. A celebration is planned at the Embassy on the Fourth of July to commemorate the agreement, and the Americans fear that the Chinese Secret Service will use the event as cover to recapture the spy. The Embassy calls in reinforcements, specifically Agent Ditto, to help thwart the Chinese. But the circumstances of Ditto’s arrival and briefing are very mysterious, and Ditto himself begins to doubt who he works for. Is the American government in charge, or are the US interests being controlled by “"The Chinaman",” a shadowy underworld figure who strikes fear into everyone's hearts?

  NEFERU THE CAT

Script:

Art:

There is a mysterious house on Pollack Street, a house that won't let go of the past. After its most recent tenant, Lucy, a Japanese woman, dies under strange circumstances, her screenwriter ex-lover and her yakuza brother investigate her death. But instead of answers, they only run into more questions as they cross paths with a slew of disturbed and disturbing characters –- all of whom want possession of this house. But what they all discover to their horror is that it's the house that wants possession of them –- and it will stop at nothing to get them.

Lorenzo F. Díaz and Carlos Puerta have created a bizarre, magical world where the ghosts of the past dredge up a murky future for all involved in this compellingly violent tale.

A crisis reigns in the city: Pińňn, the evil, slobbering dog has moved in on Neferu the Ca's territory, hypnotizing his slave and mesmerizing Neferu's mascot. Only the intervention of the Goddess Bastet and the Great Cat God Tefnut can save the world from certain canine domination. At least that's how the world looks through the eyes of a cat in Carlos Trillo and Pedro Penizzotto's tale.

Neferu lives with his mascot, the human Alex, in an apartment building in the city. When Alex becomes romantically involved with a dog owner from across the street, Neferu's life is thrown into turmoil. Not the soft and fuzzy world of cuddly animals, Neferu's rough and tumble existence is grounded in the reality of the city: danger lurks everywhere, adventure fills the streets and cats rule the rooftops. Along with his fellow cat friends in the neighborhood, Neferu has to find a way to save the feline way of life.

The Destruction

The presumed dead Jobeth Benson -- who now lives as the bald, beautiful model Bird -- seeks revenge on her evil bastard brother Reg. It seems Reg and a Dr. Elzenberg knowingly unleashed a toxic, carcinogenic product onto the unsuspecting market. Reg has tortured, killed or driven insane anyone who was a witness or has gotten in his way. Including his own sister, Jobeth.
Meanwhile, Bird's lover, Martin, has been blinded and paralyzed in an “"accident"” also engineered by her brother. Bird believes the only way to truly protect her beloved is to get rid of Reg. As she hunts Reg, he and his henchmen try to track her down. Bird has been haunting Reg's dreams and he needs to eliminate her, once and for all.

Delving into the worlds of lesbianism, S&M, the C.I.A. and pyromania, SICK BIRD –- Book #3 takes us into a fascinating world of insane revenge.

As the saga of the 5000 year-old boy continues, he and his blind companion, Valderrama, learn to their horror that Ahmasi, whom the boy beheaded, has returned from the dead. And now her thirst for vengeance is insatiable. Following their trail to Europe, and killing everyone that gets in her way, Ahmasi's evil seems grander than ever. But now the boy and Valderrama have befriended a Hindu magician and his daughter. And in doing so, has given the frightening Ahmasi another way to get to him –- and kill him.

This penultimate volume brilliantly and visually propels the bloody, sexual and amazingly violent story forward, as it leads us toward the final chapter where the battle of immortal vs. immortal, good vs. evil will come to its exciting conclusion.

Suspenseful, frightening and ultimately satisfying, 'BOY VAMPIRE Book #4 –- The Resolution,' will keep you glued until the final page.   There was a time when Westerners dreamt about strange, exotic places; about forgotten and extinct ancient civilizations, eager to own things and images from those mythical places. Maybe the most famous of them all was the Englishman, Alexander Icaro, who went to Alhambra, the Moorish palace in Granada. On his arrival to Alhambra, he discovers that the Moslem civilization is not nearly as magnificent as it was when it used to confront Damascus. Now, people from Granada live in its palaces and streets, but there seems to be something going on inside Alhambra. Mysterious murders seem to be provoked by an old relic that was considered sacred for centuries. Alexander finds a passageway in the fortress that will take him to the ancient Muslim palace, which according to the legend, is hidden underneath Alhambra. There he will find hundreds of bodies of deceased Muslim soldiers who guarded the big treasure left behind after Muslims were expelled from Spain in the 15th century. The old and recent murders lead to one of Alexander's most memorable adventures.

Alfredo Castelli has revived a lost character from the turn of the last century, Paul D'Ivoi's brilliant mystic from the East, Docteur Mystére, and placed him in the center of a brand new story. With knowing nods to Jules Verne, Gaston Leroux, Sax Rohmer and Arthur Conan Doyle, Docteur Mystére and his sidekick Cigale drive their Electric Hotel into the heart of Milan to help Lady B***, whose husband disappeared while supervising construction of a pneumatic underground railway. What nefarious plans did Lady B***'s husband stumble upon? Can Docteur Mystére find him before it's too late? Battling the evil Teppa Gang, mad scientists, the Austrian army and a dragon with only his wits, Docteur Mystére proves that he's a hero for the ages.

The extravagant, globe-trotting adventures of Dr. Mystère, as told by the good Docteur himself in the style of the Baron Von Münchhausen tales, pay homage to the classic 19th century adventure novel.
In this second book in the series, Dr. Mystère and his faithful assistant, Cigale, embark on what they believe is the first manned mission to the moon. On their journey they discover a stowaway in the form of the wilful Lady Rowena, who is trying to find her missing fiancé. Once on the moon, they encounter and befriend the moon creatures who greet them. But they soon learn that the Sallrass, a violent and aggressive race living on the other side of the moon, plan to attack and occupy Earth. In fact, the Sallrass, who can change their shape at will, have already infiltrated Earth, placing themselves in positions of great power.
Now Dr. Mystere and company must put their lives on the line to save their home planet. But things go from bad to worse when they learn that their arch enemy, Sir Radetsky – whom they rightly thought was dead – is not only alive, but here on the Moon aiding the Sallrass.
Docteur Mystere – Book 2 is an exciting, tongue-in-cheek humor-filled adventure that culminates in the battle to end all battles!

RED MOON
Book 1:
The Very Invisible Mr. Bran

Script:
Carlos Trillo

Art:
Eduardo Risso

On a hot summer day, a group of outlaws is riding through the Big Creek area, when they happen on a beautiful girl bathing in a creek and begin harassing her. The girl offers resistance and her cries for help reach the farm where her parents are working. The parents dash over to the creek only to find their girl drowned in the water and to become victims of the outlaws themselves.
Somewhat intimidated by their own actions -- after all it was a murder they did not plan or prepare for -- and in fear someone would suspect them of the crime if they saw them together as a group, the outlaws split up and go their separate ways.
Texas Ranger Tex Willer, who was just going to visit the Colters family, is welcomed at the farm by eerie silence and a horrible sight of his dead friends. He vows to avenge their deaths and sets off to track down the murderers.
