This fall the U.S. cable channel Showtime will complete airing its second season of the TV series "Jeremiah," produced by MGM, and based on SAF´s long running comics series created by the Belgian author Hermann Huppen. In addition to stars Luke Perry and Malcolm Jamal - Warner, the recent season added a new cast member to the series: Sean Astin, best known for his role as "Samwise Gamgee" in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. In "Jeremiah," Astin plays the role of "Mr. Smith." Ervin Rustemagić, the head of SAF, is an Executive Producer of "Jeremiah," which has been licensed for broadcast in 92 countries to date.
